Wednesday, July 16, 2025

  • Arrivals begin at the Woodstock Inn & Resort
  • 4:30-6:15 p.m. Gather at Ricardson’s Courtyard for welcome cocktails and conversation. You’re welcome to meet-up prior to the Dine Around dinners outside the two doors on the Main Staircase between the Garden Parlor and the Game Room. Join as you are able.
  • 5:45 – 6:15 p.m. Meet in main lobby for Dine Around group departures based on your respective restaurant’s reservation time, which will be shared closer to the meeting date.
  • 5:45 p.m., 6:00 p.m. or 6:30 p.m.  Dine Around Dinner Reservations at nearby restaurants.  You will be assigned a dinner based on the preferences shared with your registration.

  • 12:30 p.m. Lunch in Garden Terrace
  • 1:30 p.m. Group activities begin. Confirmation of your preferred activity will be shared with the confirmation emails mid-June. 
  • 5:50 p.m. Departures begin from Woodstock Inn back parking lot on shuttle to The Red Barns Culinary Studio at Kelly Way Garden. Shuttle will make several loops to transport attendees to venue.
  • 6:00 p.m. Reception begins at the Red Barns Culinary Studio, followed by dinner seating at 7:00 p.m. Shuttle will resume travel loop at the conclusion of dinner to return guests to the Inn.

Chef Chy Tuckerman shares his wealth of cooking experiences to create a fusion of his Cambodian and Thai favorites with his own unique flavors.  His spring roll is a pride of his authentic Asian cuisine.  He also features a special fruit and chocolate spring roll on the dessert menu.  The dinner menu includes house specials made from daily vegetables and herbs as well as traditional Cambodian dishes with noodles, rice, or stir fry.  Reviews describe this restaurant as a hidden gem.  This restaurant is BYOB, so staff will deliver an assortment of wine and beer for the meal. 

Long Trail Brewery– Reservation: 5:45pm

Distance from hotel: 8.3 miles, 14-minute drive

Enjoy the riverside pub and restaurant a short drive from the Woodstock Inn.  The first batch of Long Trail Ale was produced in 1989, leading the trail for Vermont’s growing craft brewing industry.  In 2022, they merged their brand with Harpoon Brewery.  You’ll enjoy a casual, seasonally rotating menu as you reunite with the NLC Mutual on the banks of the Ottauquechee River.  Beverages are limited to beer, wine, sodas, and house-made marguita.  This menu is the causal (burgers, hot dogs, etc) option for attendees. 

The Prince and the Pauper – Reservation: 6:00pm

Long regarded as one of Vermont’s finest restaurants, the Prince and the Pauper celebrates over 40 years of excellence and has been a favorite of NLC Mutual’s Board.  Attire is dressy casual; jackets not required. 

Group Activities Options – Friday Afternoon – July 18, 2025


Billings Farm & Museum and Town Stroll

Billings Farm & Museum is a half-mile stroll from the Woodstock Inn and houses sheep, cows, horses and chickens.  The 1890 Farm House and gardens welcome Woodstock Inn guests.  Following the visit to the Farm and Museum, the group will stroll through Woodstock’s quaint main street for shopping.

Quechee Gorge Hike

Vermont’s deepest gorge formed by glacial activity approximately 13,000 years ago is only a 16-minute drive from the Woodstock Inn.  The amazing views of the 165 feet natural beauty welcomes a healthy hike to the Ottauquechee River.  This activity requires walking shoes and comfortable clothes.   

Golf at Woodstock Country Club Course

Tee times have been requested for 9 and 18 holes between 1pm and 3pm at Vermont’s #1 Top Golf Course, according to Golf Advisor.  Based on availability and interest, players will be assigned tee time. This activity requires proper attire of soft spikes and shirts with collar.
